Desired Experience/Qualifications:
- Current and unencumbered RN license, eligible for practice in NC
- Minimum 2 years recent CVOR experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong knowledge of operating room procedures, cardiovascular protocols, and perioperative best practices
- Excellent critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert nursing care during cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Circulate and/or scrub for CVOR cases as required
- Monitor patient status, assess risks, and respond to changes in clinical condition
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Comply with all safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Accurately maintain documentation and patient records
