Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 2 years recent CVOR experience required
- Comprehensive knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile techniques
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (as required)
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to function effectively in high-stress situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms and act as a resource during complex cardiovascular surgeries
- Monitor and assess patient status throughout procedures, maintaining strict adherence to protocols
- Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure availability of necessary instruments and supplies
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of procedure details and patient responses
