Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position with flexible assignment duration
Qualifications/Experience:
- Active and unencumbered RN license, eligible for practice in Colorado
- Minimum of one year CVOR RN experience in a high acuity setting
- Proficiency with cardiovascular surgical procedures and intraoperative care
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary surgical teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical patients
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during cardiovascular procedures
- Monitor patient status, manage equipment, and ensure a sterile operative environment
- Document all patient interactions and procedural details accurately
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement and safety initiatives
