Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts, 12 hours
- Start date: June 15th
Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- Minimum two years CVICU nursing experience
- Direct experience managing post-operative fresh heart cases
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications
- NIHSS certification required
- EPIC EHR proficiency
- Previous travel assignment experience
- Willingness to work in a unit with 6 CTICU beds treating CV surgery, cardiogenic shock, and AAA patients
- Comfortable with a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive care to post-op cardiothoracic surgical patients
- Recognize and intervene in cardiac emergencies
- Interpret hemodynamic monitoring data and collaborate with the CVICU team
- Communicate effectively with physicians, surgeons, and family members
- Adhere to evidence-based best practices and facility protocols
