Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid RN license
• Specialized experience within a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic monitoring, and post-operative cardiac care
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide vigilant, comprehensive care to post-cardiac surgery and critically ill cardiac patients
• Administer medications, manage IV drips, and utilize advanced cardiac monitoring equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals on individualized care plans
• Accurately document patient data, interventions, and progress in electronic records
• Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, recovery trajectories, and ongoing care requirements
• Adhere strictly to infection control and safety policies and standards
