Deliver expert cardiovascular intensive care as a Registered Nurse specializing in CVICU. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess cardiovascular ICU patients with acute and complex conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and advanced nursing interventions specific to cardiac and vascular care.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute individualized care plans.
- Utilize specialized CVICU equipment, including hemodynamic monitors and mechanical circulatory support devices.
- Provide patient and family education regarding condition management and post-discharge care.
- Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license with a focus on cardiovascular intensive care.
- Proven experience in CVICU nursing, demonstrating critical care expertise.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-acuity environment.
- ACLS certification required; BLS certification preferred.
