In this dynamic RN-CVICU role, youll deliver coordinated, evidence-based nursing care to a critically ill patient group, all while following established standards and utilizing the full spectrum of the nursing process. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment; varying shifts typical to high-acuity CVICU settings
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in California
- Minimum of 2 years' recent CVICU experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proven critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
- Experience supervising nursing staff preferred
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate care for critically ill cardiovascular patients
- Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Document all care accurately and efficiently
- Utilize independent judgment in emergency and routine situations
