Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Specialized experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Effective communication skills and compassion for patients and families
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Monitor and assess cardiovascular patients post-surgery or with critical cardiac conditions
- Administer medications, manage ventilators, and provide advanced cardiac life support as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment, and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate, detailed patient records in compliance with hospital regulations and standards
