Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Specialized experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing
  • Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Effective communication skills and compassion for patients and families

Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Monitor and assess cardiovascular patients post-surgery or with critical cardiac conditions
  • Administer medications, manage ventilators, and provide advanced cardiac life support as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment, and post-discharge care
  • Maintain accurate, detailed patient records in compliance with hospital regulations and standards
