Deliver expert care in a dynamic Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit dedicated to pediatric patients. This contract opportunity calls for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in CVICU care to provide high-level, compassionate support to critically ill children.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of two years experience in a pediatric Cardiovascular ICU setting
• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Current certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS required
• Deep understanding of pediatric cardiovascular conditions and advanced critical care protocols
• Excellent clinical judgment and quick response in emergency situations
• Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills

Schedule:

• Flexible contract assignment
• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 for ICU patients, 1:3 for stepdown or non-ICU status

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled and compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients with complex cardiovascular needs
• Perform ongoing assessments, implement individualized care plans, and document patient progress in accordance with best practices and unit protocols
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs and invasive lines, and provide life-saving interventions as needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and the broader care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate and support patients families regarding the ICU environment, patient care procedures, and post-discharge plans
• Adhere strictly to safety standards and infection control measures
