This assignment offers exposure to a specialized Cardiothoracic ICU setting, working alongside an accomplished team and leaders who bring diverse expertise to the table. Youll collaborate in a 6-bed CTICU focused on fresh post-op hearts, cardiovascular surgery, cardiogenic shock, and other critical diagnoses, ensuring every shift is both challenging and deeply rewarding. Previous travel experience is required, making this ideal for those committed to delivering exceptional care in dynamic environments.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts
- June 15th start date
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- RN with at least 2 years of recent CVICU experience
- Experience caring for fresh heart post-op patients (REQUIRED)
- Proficient with EPIC electronic health records (REQUIRED)
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications (REQUIRED)
- Prior travel nursing assignment (REQUIRED)
- Confident with high-acuity cardiovascular diagnoses and interventions
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert care for patients in the Cardiothoracic ICU
- Monitor and respond to cardiovascular surgical patients critical needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document in EPIC and uphold best-practice clinical standards
