Desired Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one years experience in a CVICU or comparable critical care setting
• Demonstrated proficiency in caring for patients with cardiovascular issues
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular equipment, monitoring devices, and post-surgical care protocols
• Highly organized with effective communication skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized nursing care for patients with acute cardiac conditions, including those recovering from major surgeries or cardiac events
• Monitor and interpret complex cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and manage therapies such as IV drips, vasopressors, and other critical care interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to hospital policies and best practices in patient safety
• Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding cardiac care and recovery
