Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate a variety of lifestyles
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse license with at least 2 years' recent CTICU experience
- Proven ability to care for fresh post-operative heart patients
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
- Prior travel nursing experience is a must
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage and monitor complex CTICU patients, including post-cardiothoracic surgery, cardiogenic shock, and aneurysm repair cases
- Deliver advanced cardiovascular care, adhering to strict protocols and patient safety standards
- Collaborate with an expert team of physicians, advanced practitioners, and allied staff
- Engage in rapid patient assessments, interventions, and critical decision-making
- Maintain thorough documentation using EPIC
