Deliver specialized cardiovascular care as a critical member of a high-acuity intensive care environment. Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid RN license with good standing
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Strong cardiac monitoring, ventilator, and titration skills
• Experience caring for post-cardiac surgery patients preferred
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, closely coordinated team environment

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, assess, and treat patients with cardiac and vascular conditions in an intensive care setting
• Administer medications, manage drips, and operate advanced life support equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, cardiologists, and multidisciplinary care teams to provide individualized patient care
• Perform and interpret cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
• Document assessments, treatments, and progress notes accurately in electronic health records
• Educate patients and families on care plans, providing support throughout the recovery process
• Respond rapidly and effectively to changes in patient condition
• Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, hospital protocols, and safety regulations
