Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in a CVICU or similar critical care environment
  • Strong assessment and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of cardiac monitoring and interventions
  • ACLS & BLS certifications required
  • Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, high-acuity clinical teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to cardiovascular patients in a critical care setting
  • Monitor and interpret complex cardiac rhythms, titrate intravenous drips, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to implement and evaluate individualized care plans
  • Provide patient and family support through education and compassionate communication
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all care delivered
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and promote a safe, healing environment
  • Participate in staff meetings and ongoing clinical education
