Providing critical care to cardiovascular patients requires specialized skills and dedication. This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse experienced in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing, offering a challenging and rewarding role within a fast-paced critical care environment. This contract position is based in Irving, TX.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in the CVICU.
- Monitor cardiac parameters and use advanced technology to assess and manage patient conditions.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans.
- Administer medications, including vasoactive drips and pain management agents, while observing for patient reactions and side effects.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery goals, and post-discharge instructions.
- Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of patient status and interventions according to clinical standards and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Proven experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit nursing required.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, hemodynamic assessments, and critical care protocols.
- Excellent critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
