Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU setting
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Demonstrated ability to manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2 for ICU status, and 1:3 for stepdown/non-ICU status
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in delivering evidence-based pediatric critical care

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients with complex cardiovascular needs
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to implement and adjust care plans
• Monitor and accurately document patient progress, response to interventions, and overall condition
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient status using advanced clinical judgment
• Educate and support patient families, ensuring they understand care plans and treatment options
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols, infection control standards, and all relevant regulations
