Job Description
Deliver high-quality cardiovascular intensive care as a Registered Nurse specializing in CVICU settings. In this contract opportunity, you will provide direct patient care and coordinated treatment for individuals requiring advanced cardiac monitoring and intervention. Your expertise in critical care nursing ensures the best outcomes for patients experiencing cardiac events and complex post-operative recovery. Working collaboratively, youll lead and supervise nursing team members while efficiently working with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care (CVICU)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, leadership, and communication abilities
- Experience directing and mentoring nursing staff at various levels
- Comprehensive understanding of the nursing process and clinical best practices for cardiac patients
Schedule/Hours:
- Day and night shifts available, assignment duration to be discussed during interview
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated, patient-focused nursing care in alignment with established standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for critically ill cardiac patients
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond rapidly to emergencies
- Provide clear supervision and direction to assigned nursing personnel
- Foster seamless collaboration with members of the healthcare team
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation
