Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a specialization in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to provide expert patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess cardiovascular patients continuously, responding promptly to changes in patient status.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients families.
- Adhere to safety and infection control standards specific to critical care.
- Support patient and family education regarding postoperative care and cardiovascular health.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current RN licensure with Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) experience.
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
- Ability to handle high-stress, emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Prior experience in surgical cardiovascular intensive care preferred.
