Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with specialized expertise in Cardiovascular Intensive Care (CVICU) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Candidates in this role will work collaboratively within an advanced cardiac unit, delivering critical interventions and monitoring for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Significant clinical experience in a CVICU or similar critical care setting
• Strong knowledge of advanced cardiac life support protocols
• Proficient in the use of specialized cardiac monitoring and life-support equipment
• Exceptional clinical assessment, prioritization, and documentation abilities
• Effective communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current and in good standing)
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving patient needs and unit demands

Responsibilities:

• Provide vigilant monitoring and intervention for critically ill cardiac patients
• Administer prescribed medications, including vasoactive infusions, and adjust care based on continuous assessments
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff to optimize outcomes
• Implement evidence-based nursing practices aligned with hospital protocols
• Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, treatments, and after-care expectations
• Maintain accurate documentation of interventions, observations, and care plans
