This opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care. The role requires a compassionate and skilled professional to provide critical care to pediatric patients in a high-acuity setting.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU
- Current certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage patient care with varying nurse-to-patient ratios

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric cardiovascular patients in ICU and stepdown units
- Manage patient assignments with ratios typically ranging from 1:1 for ICU status to 1:3 for stepdown care
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond swiftly to changes in status
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care
