Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating shifts (day/night available)
• Every other weekend
• Extra days off approved within contract

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active RN license and ACLS/BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU or CVRU nursing experience
• Background in critical care
• Passion for surgical heart care, high energy, and a positive, team-focused attitude
• Preferred: Advanced certification in Critical Care, Cardiac Surgery, or Recovery Room care

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced care for post-op cardiac surgery patients, including ECMO, Impella, IABP, LVADs
• Perform key procedures: hemodynamics monitoring, patient ambulation, chest tube/pacer wire removal, intubation/extubation (guidance provided as needed)
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of charge nurses, nurse educators, and aides
• Float as needed within ICU and stepdown units
• Uphold strict compliance with dress code and unit procedures
• Arrive ready for shift and follow overtime and safety guidelines
