This travel nursing opportunity in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab invites you to provide specialized care for cardiac and peripheral vascular patients. Working within a collaborative, fast-paced cardiac team, you will collaborate with seasoned cardiologists and experienced clinicians, gaining exposure to evolving practices in interventional cardiology and growing your clinical expertise. Experience with EPIC EMR and a comprehensive cardiac patient population will enrich your professional portfolio, positioning you for future roles in advanced cardiac and acute care settings.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM (5x8s Days)
  • No weekend, on-call, or holiday coverage required

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license (VA or Compact)
  • Minimum 2 years recent experience in Cath Lab circulating and documentation (required)
  • Scrubbing experience (preferred)
  • AHA BLS & ACLS certifications
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and peripheral vascular procedures
  • Review patient medical histories, allergies, and provide pre-procedure education
  • Monitor sedation levels, administer critical medications, and maintain patient safety throughout procedures
  • Collaborate closely with physicians; ensure accurate documentation
  • Circulate and, if qualified, scrub in on procedures
