As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, youll expand your clinical expertise while collaborating with top cardiac teams. Practice advanced nursing skills by assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, developing nuanced patient assessment capabilities, and mastering diverse documentation and patient monitoring technologies such as EPIC EMR. Working closely with experienced leaders in specialized procedures will broaden your exposure to innovative workplace methodologies and care delivery strategies.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 am 4:00 pm (5x8s) enjoy your weekends and holidays off!
- No on-call or holiday requirements
Qualifications:
- Active VA or Compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab circulating and documenting experience required
- Scrubbing experience preferred
- ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA only)
- Proficient in reviewing patient medical histories, administering conscious sedation, and managing hemodynamics
- Experience with EPIC EMR a must
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and document during minimally invasive cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
- Administer and monitor sedation, medications, and patient education
- Assist cardiologists during interventions, ensuring safety and swift response to patient needs
