Schedule/Hours:
- Days, 4x9-hour shifts (07:0016:30), variable days Monday through Friday
- Two on-call shifts each week
- Two weekend on-call shifts per six-week schedule
- On-call coverage required for July 4th weekend
In this dynamic role, youll play a key part in the cardiac care team, directly assisting in diagnostic and interventional procedures within the Cath Lab. The experience you'll gain will set you apart in the nursing field, offering an in-depth look into advanced cardiac interventions and state-of-the-art technology.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year recent Cath Lab RN experience preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and efficient during high-pressure situations
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
- Monitor and care for patients before, during, and after procedures
- Uphold rigorous infection control, quality, and safety standards
- Respond rapidly to patient emergencies and provide necessary interventions
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
