As a Cath Lab RN, you'll immerse yourself in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment, gaining invaluable hands-on experience with advanced cardiac and vascular procedures in a high-acuity setting. This role provides the unique opportunity to collaborate with expert clinicians, learn varied procedural techniques, and master the operation of state-of-the-art radiology imaging equipment. Expand your clinical resume with exposure to structural heart interventions, peripheral and diagnostic studies, and learn from diverse leadership approaches.
Schedule/Hours:
- MondayFriday, variable start times between 7:008:00 AM (8-hour shifts)
- 5x8s (five 8-hour shifts per week)
- On-call approximately one day per week and one weekend per month
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license with a degree in a related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or equivalent experience
- Two+ years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience
- RCIS or RAD credential required
- Proficient in scrub/pan procedures for peripheral and diagnostic cardiology studies
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Strong adaptability, impeccable confidentiality, and effective communication/interpersonal skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Support cardiac and vascular patients during invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Perform scrub and monitoring duties using all aspects of Cath Lab and radiology equipment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care
- Uphold strict confidentiality and consistently adapt to shifting priorities
