The Cath Lab will provide opportunities to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, encounter diverse patient populations (including cardiac, vascular, and IR cases), and broaden your nursing resume with meaningful assignments. Schedule/Hours:
- Days: 4x9 hour shifts per week
- 36 guaranteed hours weekly
- Weekend hours as needed
- On-call: 8 days per month
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (MO or compact)
- Minimum 1 year Cath Lab RN experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Comfort with Epic EMR preferred
- Ability to float as needed within nursing scope
- Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
- Professional, adaptable attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert nursing care for cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures
- Assess, monitor, and advocate for patients through all phases of the Cath Lab experience
- Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies and maintain readiness during call shifts
- Maintain meticulous, accurate documentation using Epic EMR
- Uphold and model high standards of patient safety
