This opportunity is ideal for dedicated RNs eager to refine their skills in a specialized environment while enjoying the adventure and flexibility that travel nursing offers. With a full-time schedule of four 10-hour shifts, youll have ample downtime to discover Tularosas historical sites, enjoy outdoor recreation, and immerse yourself in the warm community spirit.
Schedule:
- 4 days per week
- 10-hour shifts
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in New Mexico
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (AHA only)
- 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab or related nursing specialty preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to speak additional languages is an asset
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide independent, evidence-based nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while consulting with physicians and multidisciplinary staff
- Promote a culture of caring, teamwork, patient advocacy, and positive public relations
- Uphold confidentiality and respect for cultural, religious, and end-of-life values
- Participate in department and hospital quality and compliance activities
- Maintain current clinical competencies and actively seek learning opportunities
- Demonstrate reliable attendance and accountability
