  • 0700-1730
  • Weekend and night call requirements

Qualifications

  • Active NY RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab/procedural/sedation experience
  • Strong cardiac assessment and intervention skills
  • Familiarity with left/right heart catheterization, coronary stents, balloon valvuloplasty, pericardiocentesis, structural heart interventions, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, and EKOS
  • Proficiency in procedural sedation and emergency response (STEMI team member experience preferred)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment, monitoring, and intervention for a range of cardiac procedures
  • Serve as part of the Emergency On-Call (STEMI) Team
  • Administer oral and IV medications accurately and safely
  • Monitor patients under sedation, quickly addressing any adverse reactions
  • Educate patients and families on surgical site care, lifestyle modifications, and medication management
  • Manage all procedural paperwork, charts, consent forms, lab results, and clinical documentation
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
