Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Rotating call required
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab
- Required certifications: RCIS, ACLS, and BLS
- Experience with right and left heart catheterizations (diagnostic and interventional), as well as peripheral procedures
- Strong EP (Electrophysiology) skills preferred
- Familiarity with GE lab equipment, Impella, Balloon pump, Penumbra, and IVUS
- Experience using Merge Hemo documentation system
- Ability to float as needed, including coverage for STEMI calls at a sister facility
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert care to patients undergoing vascular and cardiac catheterization procedures
- Collaborate closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor patient status, administer medication as needed, and respond promptly to clinical changes
- Accurately document all procedures and patient interactions within the electronic medical record system
- Adhere to strict infection control, safety, and procedural protocols
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during emergencies
