Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in cardiac care by joining a dynamic Cath Lab team as a Registered Nurse. This contract role focuses on providing specialized, high-quality nursing for patients undergoing catheterization procedures. Youll collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and fellow nurses to ensure patient safety, comfort, and successful outcomes at every stage of care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time hours, with possible on-call rotations depending on department needs

What Were Looking For:

  • Current and active RN license
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting as a Registered Nurse
  • Advanced knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, equipment, and patient monitoring
  • Ability to interpret EKGs and respond to emergencies calmly and effectively
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Proficiency with electronic health records is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and interventional cardiology procedures
  • Monitor and assess patients vital signs and overall status before, during, and after procedures
  • Administer and titrate medications as ordered, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Provide pre- and post-procedural education and support to patients and families
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and documentation standards
  • Ensure Cath Lab is properly stocked, organized, and ready for procedures
