Youll be entrusted with providing exceptional care to patients before and after catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, working in a setting known for its commitment to high standards and innovation in cardiac care. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment
- Shifts and hours provided upon offer
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough pre-procedure assessments for patients undergoing catheterization or electrophysiology studies
- Manage vascular access and device implant sites, including radial, femoral, IJ, and device pockets
- Administer medications as specified by the care plan
- Assist in cardioversions and support procedures as needed
- Monitor and interpret vital signs and ECGs throughout the patients stay
- Deliver comprehensive post-procedure discharge education to support home recovery and safety
Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license with eligibility to practice in Ohio
- Previous experience in Cath Lab or cardiac care strongly preferred
- Proficiency in vascular access management and medication administration
- Solid understanding of cardiac rhythms and peri-procedural nursing
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
