As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, youll elevate your clinical skills by working with diverse teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment. This assignment provides hands-on experience with diagnostic and minimally invasive cardiac and vascular procedures, collaboration with expert cardiologists, and broad exposure to advanced equipment and leading-edge protocols. Each day offers the chance to learn new practices and leadership approachesempowering you to expand your resume while delivering crucial care to patients requiring specialized heart and vascular interventions.
Schedule/Hours:
- MondayFriday, 7:30am4:00pm (5x8s Days)
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements
Qualifications:
- Current VA or compact RN license
- 2+ years of Cath Lab circulating and documenting experience required
- ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications
- Strong preference for scrubbing experience
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR is essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and document during advanced cardiac and vascular procedures
- Administer conscious sedation, monitor patients, and respond to critical changes
- Provide patient education and pre-procedure assessments
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and the interdisciplinary team
