This opportunity is designed for Registered Nurses with Cath Lab experience seeking a dynamic and challenging contract role in South Bend, IN. Responsibilities:
- Provide expert nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Monitor patients cardiac status before, during, and after catheterization.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, including on-call situations.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in Cath Lab nursing with knowledge of cardiac procedures and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Comfortable with call responsibilities including weekday call shifts and weekend coverage.
Schedule:
- 1 weekend per month.
- Weekday call 4-5 days per pay period.
- Weekday call hours: End of shift to 7:30 AM Monday-Friday (per scheduled call).
- Weekend call hours: End of shift Friday to 7:30 AM Monday.
