Job Description

Bring your expertise in cardiac care to a dynamic team environment, supporting critical catheterization lab procedures for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular care. As a Registered Nurse specializing in the Cath Lab, you will play an essential role in patient outcomes, collaborating closely with physicians, technicians, and fellow nurses to deliver exceptional care throughout all phases of cardiac catheterization and related procedures.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab setting preferred
  • Solid foundation in cardiac and vascular patient assessment
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Proven ability to monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity environments

Schedule/Hours:

  • Shifts and scheduling details will be determined in coordination with facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures (including angioplasty, stenting, and pacemaker insertions)
  • Ensure safe patient care before, during, and after procedures
  • Maintain a sterile environment and handle instruments and supplies appropriately
  • Accurately document interventions, assessments, and patient responses
  • Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms, intervening as necessary
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Adhere strictly to infection control and safety protocols
