Schedule & Hours:
- 13-week assignment beginning May 11
- 40 guaranteed hours per week (four 10-hour shifts: MondayFriday)
- On-call approximately 1014 days in a 6-week period, including 2 weekend shifts
- Flexibility to float between campuses, with open communication regarding any changes
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license to practice in Texas
- 3+ years experience as an RN, with strong background in Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Experienced in EP (electrophysiology) procedures/hemodynamics and all Cath Lab roles (circulator, monitor, scrub, recovery)
- Proficient in recognizing/acting on cardiac rhythms and utilizing Cath/EP equipment: ventilators, IABP, Impella, EP ablation devices
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
- Preferred: Cardiovascular certifications such as CVRNII, CCRN, RCIS, or RCESE
- Comfortable working in high-stress, procedure-heavy environments and wearing protective equipment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care for Cath Lab and EP procedures
- Assume roles as needed (circulator, monitor, scrub, recovery)
- Respond promptly to physiological changes during procedures
- Maintain strict compliance with radiation safety protocols
