As a Registered Nurse in this travel assignment, youll encounter diverse workplace practices and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, giving you valuable insight into a range of leadership and care delivery styles. Schedule/Hours:
- 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM 5:30 PM)
- On-call requirement: 8-10 days monthly, including 1-2 weekends per month
Responsibilities:
- Provide age-appropriate, patient-focused care in the Cath Lab
- Perform assessments, develop measurable care plans, and update interventions as needed
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Utilize strong communication and leadership skills for effective teamwork and quality improvement
- Mentor new staff and ensure a positive, supportive work environment
- Maintain compliance with all safety, HR, and hospital policies
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current New Mexico RN license or compact state license
- BLS Certification from AHA
- Up-to-date clinical skills relevant to Cath Lab care
- Strong commitment to patient advocacy and collaboration
