Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Current RN license (Indiana or compact state)
- Proven experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
- Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technology and procedural protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and medical teams with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Monitor patient stability, hemodynamic status, and respond promptly to emergencies
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments with precision and care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation for all patient interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about pre and post-procedural care
