Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time travel assignment
- Specific hours and shift details provided during interview process
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid RN license in the state of Virginia (or compact state)
- Minimum 1-2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience strongly preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced clinical environments
- Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care
Responsibilities:
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures
- Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document care accurately and timely
- Provide pre- and post-operative education to patients and families
- Maintain and troubleshoot specialized Cath Lab equipment
