Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid RN license in the state of Virginia (or compact state)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience strongly preferred
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced clinical environments
  • Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Document care accurately and timely
  • Provide pre- and post-operative education to patients and families
  • Maintain and troubleshoot specialized Cath Lab equipment
