Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Cath Lab environment
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Exceptional assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Experience assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and monitoring patients throughout procedures
- Administer medications safely and manage IV lines and cardiovascular drips
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control standards and protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document clinical information and patient data
- Provide compassionate education and support to patients and families in high-acuity settings
