Working as a travel Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab will provide exposure to a variety of workplace practices and leadership styles that foster continuous learning. Contributing your skills alongside healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds allows you to enhance your expertise in a state-of-the-art environment while preparing for future leadership opportunities.
Schedule:
- 12-week assignment
- Four 10-hour shifts per week (4x10)
- Rotating day off
- On-call required Monday through Friday and weekends (10-12 days per month minimum)
Qualifications:
- Active NH or Compact RN License (required)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Minimum distance of 40 miles from facility (per traveler policy)
- Proven experience in Cath Lab nursing strongly preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking capabilities
- Collaborative, patient-first focus and adaptability to varying team dynamics
Key Duties:
- Provide expert nursing care for Cath Lab procedures
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures
- Administer medications and respond to emergent situations as needed
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with facility policies
