A nursing opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Cath Lab care to provide expert clinical support in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract position requires dedication to patient-centered care and the ability to manage complex clinical situations with autonomy.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care following the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, including comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring patient responses and side effects.
• Document detailed patient histories, symptoms, and care activities accurately.
• Address complex psychological, cultural, emotional, and social needs of patients and families, enhancing holistic care.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to individual learning needs.
• Collaborate effectively with clinical teams, delegating tasks appropriately to manage care efficiently.
• Maintain competency through ongoing education and adherence to hospital protocols.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience in a related specialty, with critical care experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or compact state licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
• Successful completion of orientation and competency validations within the first 30 days of hire.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Weekend rotations every third or fourth weekend.
• On-call responsibilities as collaboratively determined with team members.
