Key Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license (state requirements apply)
- Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab nursing experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong proficiency with EP and interventional cardiology procedures
- Adaptable and quick to learn new electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and patient assessment skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, stents, pacemaker/ICD insertions, and EP procedures
- Collaborate closely with interventionalists and cardiovascular technologists
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond to emergent situations
- Maintain accurate documentation and support patient/family education
