Desired Qualifications:
- Current and unencumbered RN license
- Demonstrated experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Cardiology settings
- Strong critical thinking and assessment abilities
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Effective communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
- Experience with EMR systems and electronic documentation
Responsibilities:
- Assist cardiologists and the team during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, responding to changes in condition promptly
- Provide detailed post-procedural care and patient education
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Accurately document procedures and patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for optimum patient outcomes
