Job Description
Opportunities are available for experienced Registered Nurses to support a dynamic Cath Lab team in a busy acute care hospital recognized for cardiovascular excellence and comprehensive emergency services. This contract position offers a collaborative environment with the latest technologies, including GE flouro, Mac Lab, Acist, and more.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 AM 4:30 PM
- 4 ten-hour or 5 eight-hour shifts per week
- Participation in call rotation for late stays may be required
Qualifications:
- Active RN state license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications a must
- Minimum advanced skills in at least two areas: EP circulating, scrubbing, or monitoring
- Previous experience in a Cath Lab highly preferred
- Familiarity with procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, PCI, peripheral interventions, Impella, and balloon pump
- Adaptability to float to holding, EP Lab, or other areas within scope of practice
- Demonstrated teamwork, strong patient care focus, and excellent communication
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in the Cath Lab and support the patient experience throughout procedures
- Circulate, scrub, and monitor for complex interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures
- Ensure accurate documentation using Mac Lab and Medi Tech systems
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain readiness for emergencies and demonstrate commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth
