Bring your expertise in cardiovascular care to an advanced Cath Lab environment. This contract opportunity empowers Registered Nurses to deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic, technologically sophisticated setting. Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
- Rotating call required
Desired Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum two years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- RCIS certification
- Strong proficiency with cardiac devices (GE lab equipment, Impella, Balloon pump, Penumbra, IVUS)
- Experience with Merge Hemo documentation system highly desirable
- EP (Electrophysiology) experience preferred
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing right and left heart catheterizations, including diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Assist with peripheral procedures as needed
- Collaborate with a close-knit interdisciplinary team, including unit secretaries and techs, to maintain optimal patient ratios
- Float as needed to support nearby sister facilities during STEMI cases
- Adhere to hospital and unit-specific guidelines, including call and emergency response policies
- Support a patient-centered care philosophy and contribute to a positive patient experience
