Play a key role in a highly specialized Cardiac Cath Lab, providing exceptional care and expertise as a Registered Nurse. This position is based within a well-regarded unit featuring four advanced rooms supporting interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and endovascular diagnosis and treatment. As a contract RN, you'll help ensure excellence in patient outcomes and partner with a dedicated clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Monitor and assess patient status, responding to changes and collaborating with physicians and allied health professionals
• Administer medications, manage intravenous lines, and document all procedural activities
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of equipment and rooms for cardiac procedures
• Support patient and family education regarding procedures, recovery, and ongoing care needs
• Uphold best practices in sterile technique, infection prevention, and emergency response protocols

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Previous experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or critical care environment highly preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong cardiac and vascular procedural knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective in high-acuity situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proven documentation and organizational skills
