Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license (Compact or Virginia)
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Cath Lab environment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong IV insertion and conscious sedation skills
- Proficiency in monitoring cardiac patients and managing emergencies
Primary Responsibilities:
- Care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Accurately administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols
- Document patient care processes and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- Provide education and compassionate support to patients and families
