Preferred Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Ohio or compact state
- 2+ years of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Strong knowledge of interventional cardiac procedures
- Ability to excel in fast-paced, technology-driven environments
- Excellent critical thinking and patient assessment skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
- Administer medications and monitor patient vitals pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
- Work collaboratively with physicians and technical staff
- Provide patient and family education regarding procedures and aftercare
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with facility protocols
- Respond rapidly and effectively to patient emergencies
