Job Description

This contract role offers the chance to work alongside experienced professionals while expanding your expertise in both Cath Lab and electrophysiology (EP) nursing.

Schedule:

  • On call every 34 days; includes every third or fourth weekend
  • No weekend or holiday requirements unless on call
  • Blocked scheduling not guaranteed

Qualifications:

  • Active Ohio Registered Nurse license
  • American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
  • At least 1 year of EP nursing experience
  • Willingness to perform hourly rounding
  • Caribbean Blue scrub attire required

Preferred Experience:

  • Over 2 years of Cath Lab or EP nursing background
  • Experience using Meditech EMR documentation
  • Background in a hospital setting with 200+ beds

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and EP procedures
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and best practices during procedures and patient monitoring
  • Document all patient interactions and interventions using Meditech EMR
  • Participate actively in orientation covering hospital policies, procedures, and unit-specific training
  • Provide support to the interdisciplinary team, ensuring smooth workflow
  • Maintain readiness to respond to on-call needs as scheduled

$2,838 - $2,992/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
