Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license, valid in California
- Recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency with monitoring and documentation systems used in Cath Labs
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cardiologists and the Cath Lab team during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care to patients
- Monitor patients vital signs and adapt to status changes
- Administer medications, including those used in sedation and cardiac support
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient care
- Ensure equipment is prepared and sterile for all procedures
- Educate patients and families on post-procedural care
